Back To Utah

Sienna has moved back to her home in Big Water, Utah. We really wanted to keep her, but are only zoned for two horses. We know she has a good home there. We enjoyed having her in our life for 18 months.

About Sienna

We had Sienna from December 14, 2017 to May, 2019. We drove clear to Big Water, Utah to pick her up and it was a looong drive to Wyoming. What we know about her: purebred Quarter horse mare, born in 2004. Spent most of her life in southern Utah as a ranch and trail horse. We were told she even had a try at barrel racing, but was too "slow". Registration papers were lost, but her registered name might have been something like "Sunset Shimmer". Her previous owner called her "Slick". We renamed her "Sienna" because of her color and we didn't want a "Shrek" and a "Slick". In April of 2017, she gave birth to a "surprise" foal--a curly haired colt they named "Curly".

After about 2 days with us, she became the "boss" of our little herd of two.

I never thought I would have a Quarter horse, but here we are. I didn't particularly want a tall horse or a mare, either, but here we are. She neck reins well for my one-handed riding with a camera. She has energy when asked for, but calms down and relaxes when needed.
